Ravens rookie Bilhal Kone carted off with season-ending knee injury



Ravens rookie cornerback Bilhal Kone suffered a devastating left knee injury late in the first quarter and had to be carted off.

Following the team’s 24-16 win over the Colts, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced Kone would miss the entire 2025 season. 

“He has a torn ligament in his knee, unfortunately,” Harbaugh told reporters

Kone was battling a Colts wide receiver near the end zone when he suffered the injury, with a fan video posted online appearing to show his left leg bent sideways and the Ravens defensive back in immense pain.

The rookie corner grabbed at his left knee, and teammates called for the Ravens’ training staff almost immediately. 

A cart was brought out, and Kone was ruled out for the remainder of the game with a knee injury. 

Kone’s leg was placed in a vacuum splint before he was carted off the field.

Kone was having a strong showing during training camp after the Ravens had selected him in the sixth round out of Western Michigan. 

He had started in all 13 games for the Broncos last season, recording 42 tackles, nine passes defended and one interception.

Kone wasn’t the only injury on Thursday night, with the Colts watching quarterback Anthony Richardson leave eight minutes into the first quarter after being leveled by David Ojabo.

The signal-caller was diagnosed with a dislocated pinky.
