OAKLAND — A local resident was sentenced to six months of house arrest and two years of probation for starting an OnlyFans account with child rape videos, court records show.
Kevin Jimenez, 25, pleaded no contest to a felony charge of possessing or controlling child sexual abuse material, court records show. As part of a plea deal with Alameda County prosecutors that was finalized in late June, he must also register as a sex offender for life and take sexual offender classes, court records show.
Jimenez was charged last year, after Oakland police received a tip about child sexual abuse material on OnlyFans, a subscription-based adult content website. Investigators looked into it and discovered Jimenez allegedly set up the account under the pseudonym “Kevin Jackson” and a fake date of birth, authorities said.
The videos he allegedly posted included one of a prepubescent girl who was tied up and raped, according to court records. Police say they were able to identify Jimenez as the creator of the account due to the IP address and other digital evidence.
Jimenez was out of jail on $50,000 bail at the time the plea deal was reached.
