Jets’ Justin Fields bounces back following consecutive rough practices

Observations from Jets camp on Thursday:

Yo, Adrian!

Adrian Martinez completed a bomb down the left sideline to Quentin Skinner, who leapt over Jarius Monroe for a roughly 45-yard gain.

Tip of the Iceberg

Jeremy Ruckert had a brutal drop, deflecting a pass from Justin Fields in the air and right into Brandon Stephens’ hands for an interception.

Caught My Eye

Fields bounced back with a strong showing after a few rough practices in a row. He went 7-for-14 with a touchdown and an interception and added a rushing touchdown as well. Six of those seven completions were to Garrett Wilson — including the touchdown pass. His interception came off the Ruckert drop, and his incompletions included a few throwaways in late-game situations.
