Doechii is kicking things up following her triumphs at the 2025 editions of the Grammy Awards, the Glastonbury festival in England and this past weekend’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.
The charismatic 26-year-old rapper and singer announced Monday morning the dates for her 2025 North American fall tour. It opens Oct. 14 in Chicago, concludes Nov. 10 in Seattle, and includes only two California dates — Nov. 5 in San Diego at Gallagher Square at Petco Park and Nov. 7. in San Francisco at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
Born Jaylah Ji’mya Hickmon, Florida native Doechii teased her “Live From The Swamp” fall concert tour during her Saturday performance at Lollapalooza. But she waited until today, Monday, to disclose the specific dates, cities and venues.
Tickets go on sale next Monday, Aug. 11, to the general public. A pre-sale runs Friday through Sunday. More details appear later in this article.
In February, Doechii’s “Alligator Bites Never Heal” beat out heavily favored releases by Eminem, J. Cole, Common & Pete Rock, and Future & Metro Boomin’ to make her just the third woman in Grammy history to win Best Rap Album honors at the Grammys. (Lauryn Hill and Cardi B are the only two others.)
Doechii concluded her Grammy acceptance speech by saying: “Anything is possible. Don’t allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you, to tell you that you can’t be here, that you’re too dark, or that you’re not smart enough, or that you’re too dramatic, or you’re too loud. You are exactly who you need to be to be right where you are, and I am a testimony right now.”
